FourteenIreland 2012: Day 1

In just two weeks, five others and I will be on our way to Ireland for FCA Golf's 4th Annual Anders Forsbrand Ireland Junior Golf Camp.  From March 30th to April 7th, FCA Golf will share the Good News and hope of Jesus through professional golf instruction, excellent competition and engaging Bible teaching.  The past two years, campers have made decisions to make Jesus Lord and Savior of their lives.

Would you join me in praying for Ireland, the FCA Golf team, and the impact Christ will have through us in 2012 during the next fourteen days?

Today, Day #1, of our 14 day journey, please pray for Camp Registration.  Although there are campers already registered, there are several who have not yet signed up.  It is quite possible that there are Irish youth out there who will be at this camp that haven't even heard about it yet.  But God knows who they are...

  • Pray for the youth who have already registered, as well as those who will...
  • Pray that God would bring youth to camp who need to be there...
  • Pray that the Lord would prepare the minds and hearts of these campers to hear and receive the Gospel...

Thanks for standing with us in prayer!

FCA Golf's Ireland Junior Golf Camp

Dear Mulligan Society,

In just 5 weeks, myself and 5 others will be headed to Ireland for FCA Golf's 4th annual Anders Forsbrand Ireland Junior Golf Camp.

As I've mentioned several times before, I don't think there's a better time than NOW for FCA Golf to be in Ireland.  The country has struggled economically for several years now, and too many of Ireland's youth look to the future with very little hope.  This continues to be evidenced by a high rate of suicide among later teens and young men.  From March 31st to April 7th, FCA Golf will again take golf to a country that loves the game more than our very own.  Using professional golf instruction and fun competition, the FCA Golf Ireland team will share with Irish youth the great news of a loving God who has given hope and meaning to our lives through His son, Jesus Christ.

Please join me in praying for the country of Ireland, the FCA Golf team going, and the impact Christ will have through us this year.

The 2012 FCA Golf Ireland team will be made up of 6 committed individuals.  Each of us are working hard to raise the necessary funds to cover the costs associated with this camp.  By each team member raising roughly $2,000, many costs typically associated with camp won't get passed on to campers' registration fees.  The result is a camp that is extremely affordable for the Irish youth to attend.  As this camp quickly approaches and final preparations are made, there are two specific requests I'd like to place before you:

  1. Please lift us up in prayer daily.  Pray that God's Spirit would overwhelm every person and detail of this camp.
  2. Please consider supporting this camp financially by giving a gift to FCA Golf--visit the donate page and reference "Ireland" with your gift.

I am thankful for you and your support in whatever you decide to do.  Your prayers and finances are eternal investments that make an eternal impact in the lives of so many!

I look forward to keeping you updated on all the wonderful things God will do in Ireland this year.  Thank you for partnering with us!
