Dear Mulligan Society,
Did you know that every January more than 40,000 PGA Professionals, retailers and golf industry leaders come together in Orlando, Florida for the PGA Merchandise Show? Throughout the years, this venue has provided FCA Golf the opportunity to connect with hundreds of golf professionals, vendors and ministry partners in a matter of a few days. Over the past several years, the show has grown to include hundreds of Professional Golf Management (PGM) students (PGA Professionals in training) from universities around the country who attend in hopes of landing a job or internship with golf professionals who are present at the show.
Recognizing the opportunity FCA Golf has to minister to this group of aspiring young golf professionals, the inaugural FCA Golf PGA Show Breakfast was held Friday morning, January 27th, at the show. In addition to having a hearty breakfast and learning more about the FCA Golf Ministry, students in attendance had the pleasure of hearing from nationally acclaimed, top 100 golf instructors, Mike Bender, Stan Utley and Brian Mogg. In addition to sharing about their playing and teaching careers, each of these men shared how their faith in Jesus Christ has shaped their past experiences and influenced their personal lives and teaching careers today. Over 100 students and professors had a wonderful time and helped build a great foundation for FCA Golf PGA Show Breakfasts in the years to come!
